Shank

"Shank" Skeletonized Knife

The Shank is as simple and clean as a knife can get. The steel used in this knife is very tough ATS-34 with high molybdenum and tough in the thin cross-sectional areas. This is a true stainless steel. The blade is skeletonized, that is, only the essential parts are present, in a thick and stout tang handle. The Shank has two contoured and radiused one inch diameter finger holes for security, and the blade is hollow ground and mirror polished throughout. This Shank has full filework, throughout the finger holes, tang, spine and even in the milled holes of the blade. The mirror polish on the Shank is also fully fileworked on all the flats, with a simple and clean scroll and leaf pattern. The Shank also has 1.5" of my vampire rip tooth serrations. The knife is sheathed in a clean leather sheath made of 9 - 10 oz. shoulder, which is hand-carved for inlays of red Stingray skin, front and back.
